Just Glisten for God

The psalm (37:4-5) tells us to commit our way to God and He will make our righteousness and vindication glisten. As I looked out onto the sun shining and shimmering brilliantly on this lake, I realized how simple this is: I just have to Be and God in me will shine out, radiating his light. So just rest in Him, my friend. Luxuriate in Christ's righteousness which He gave  you as a gift by His sacrifice on the cross. In Him, because of the crucifixion, you are not judged or condemned. So finally,  you can relax! That resting, that settling into your vindication is all sufficient.  Nothing more is needed. You can just BE and in Christ you are okay! Let me repeat this:   No works. No projects. No possessions. No credentials will add anything to your life or your value in God’s eyes.  All He wants is for you to be in Him. Put away your to-do lists.  Simply be in Christ. And you will glisten for God.large-signature
