Accept Your Weakness

Be a person of strength.   Accept your weakness.

Can you imagine being born with one crippled leg?  To parents that have no money to help correct the problem?  In a country where people with handicaps were considered garbage and left to beg from the street gutters?  Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah of Ghana is this person. Watch Emmanuel’s Gift, a movie about this courageous young man.The handicapping condition you have may not be obvious like Emmanuel’s twisted leg. (Picture him playing soccer using crutches!)  Whether the problem is seen or invisible to the eye, don’t let it throw you into any gutter or emotional pit.  Accept your disability or weakness. Declare God’s blessing on it and for it. Change your course.  Don’t limp off to the street corner and wait for hand outs in the gutter.  Be proactive.  Gather up the Creator’s strength in you.  Declare God’s using you and your handicap so this world becomes more intensely the Kingdom of God right where you are.
