Adaptation of Isaiah 63:9

In all their affliction He was afflicted  (1)

and the angel of His presence saved them; (2)

In his love and in His mercy, (3)

He redeemed them, (4)

and He lifted them and carried them all the days of old (5)

Enjoy the adaptation the Lord gave me from studying the Hebrew words for this marvelous verse.  The Hebrew words (from my Blue Letter Bible app) are in bold, and the phonetic pronunciation is in bold italic.  I pray the word pictures will make this verse sparkle for you.(1)  In all your troubles and hard times, I too feel that pebble in my shoe.Kol tsarah tsar    (kole  sa-rah sair) (2) I, the angel of the Lord’s presence,my very face, has opened up everything wide for you.My Paniym has saved you from your enemy, just like I, the Almighty, liberated the Israelites from Egypt. My Presence protected you, just like I rescued Danielfrom the lion’s mouth, and like Moses saved the shepherd girls.mal’ak paniym yasha  (mal-awk  pan-neem ya-shã) (3) I, your loving Father, has tied a cord of love around the two of us.We are bound hand-to-hand as a bride and groom.I can grasp you by your arm and lead you out of danger, just like the angels did to Lot and his family.ahabah chemlah  (aa-hav-vah’ khem-lah’) (4) I have redeemed you.Picture yourself like Issac as a twelve-year oldon an altar willing to be sacrificed, believing in the resurrection. As your kinsman, I step in and stay Abraham’s knife, and provide the price of redemption. Then I lift you up off the rock, raise you high, and carry you awayga’ al natal nasa   (gah-al’ nah-taal nah-sã) (5) in every situation, through out all the days, for eternity.    AMEN and AMEN.Kol yowm owlam    (kol yōm ō-lalm) In Christ,large-signature
