Adaptation of Ps. 108
What the Almighty God, My Heavenly Father, does for me:Dear One, I call you yediyd (yã-deed’) my beloved, my lovely one. (6)I answer you.I am keeping my eye on you, and know everything you are doing. (6)I have love for you that is higher than the heavens,My faithfulness towards you reaches to the skies. (4)Every cloud you see is a flag to that faithfulness. My kabowd (ka.voode) is over all the earth. (5)Yes, you can see my rich abundance and splendor, as well as my reputation of holiness.I am yasha-ing you by my right hand, safely delivering you, and giving you victories.I am chalats-ing (kha-lats’) you, equipping and invigorating you for battle. (6)I am handling these particular enemies: your rocky regions (Gilead); (7)“all that you want to forget” (Manasseh); (8)your washbasin, which holds your dirty water (Moab); (9)your “red” (Esau) areas, the fleshly desires.I trample on and truly kickout (buwc, boos) your enemies. (13)That means I destroy anything that is a “hard pebble” in your shoe, and fix any tight spots you get into.I am expanding your resting places (Valley of Sukkoth), (7)and shouting for joy over the areas in which you travel (Palestine). (9)I am portioning out the load you carry on your back (Shechem). (7)I am giving you double fruitfulness (Ephraim) as your helmet of protection. (8)I am giving you praise (Judah) as your scepter, which is a rod of power and authority. (8)Simply put, I am giving you all the help you need. Always! (12)Oh LORD, What I shall do in response to you, Almighty God,my Heavenly Father?By your grace, I will awaken the dawn. (2)I will keep a steadfast heart. (1)I will sing and make music with all my soul. (3)I will praise you and sing to you. Truly you are my All in All.Selah — Be silent and meditate on this.In Christ,
