Does your Heart Need a Makeover?

Do you think your heart might need a makeover?  Is it containing old “stuff” that is negative and blocking the love of God in your life? The reason I suggest a makeover is so you can make more room in your heart for God’s love.   Personally, I want a heightened awareness of God’s love in my life.   And I know that I have to rid myself of “stuff” that is blocking His love.The “stuff”  I recommend you get rid of is call “projections.”  These are psychological strategies used to manage the negative beliefs and trauma memories of our youth.  They end up getting projected out onto people in our current situation, causing problems in communication.  The video blog shares three examples of projection.Once we recognize the projection, we need to find the antidote, a Scriptural truth that erases the ungodly belief, and cleans out our heart.  In so doing, as we recognize the “stuff” and receive the truth,  we make more room for God’s love.  Then we have the thrill of releasing that Love of God to others.   And God keeps filling us up.   Simply remember the 3 “R’s” — Recognize, Receive, and Release.Plus, all we have to do is ASK — Ask God: what is the “stuff” blocking your love?  Seek from God the divine truth that counteracts the hidden lie.  Then knock on the door of God’s heart,  — which isn’t closed, but wide open — and receive His never-ending supply of love, to release to others. (Rev. 3:8).
