Marvelous Promises from Isaiah 54.

Whether you are married or single, direct your attention to what the Prophet Isaiah says about God Our Maker.  This Sovereign God is our Husband, and promises marvels.

He promises to have you enlarge the place of your tent (influence), stretch out  your plans and think big for His Kingdom. Is. 54:2-3

He promises that you will not suffer shame or embarrassment, that He will cause you to forget the humiliations and indignities that have happened to you. Is. 54:4

He promises to call to you when you are distressed in spirit, and to bring you into His deep compassion. Is. 54: 6-8

He promises that His unfailing love will not be shaken or removed from you, even when the mountains (circumstances) around you quake, tremble and shake themselves. Is. 54:10

He promises that He will teach your children Himself, and your children will have great peace. Is. 54:13

He promises that no weapon forged against you will prevail. (NIV) Is. 54:17.

In summary, God decrees that “I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.” (v.17, the MSG)
