Our Hidden Sex Lives- Part IV
What does Satan say about sex? The following are the beliefs Satan has dispersed throughout the earth regarding sex:
- It feels great. And what feels great IS great.
- What you see and feel is what is real. What is out of sight (God blessings, power of the holy spirit), is a delusion. It is fake, and ludicrous.
- You, as an individual, have free will. You are free to chose to do whatever you want. Disobedience to God is no big deal.
- Live for the pleasures of today. There are no consequences.
- Everyone is doing it — so it can’t possibly be wrong.
These beliefs are false!!In addition, Satan continues to whisper the question the serpent asked Eve in Gen 3:1: “Did God really say that?” The Devil challenges this basic precept: “If you obey God, you will be blessed, and if you disobey God, you will be cursed.” (Deut. 28)So the destructive outcome of these dark lies can be seen in blatant evil, such as sex trafficking, sexual molestation, abortions, sexual diseases, and graphic pornography. But the more subtle results of the satanic realms influence are less “in your face” problems. These appear as confusion about
- “being in love”,
- the propriety of foreplay,
- the practice of premature (too-early) sexual arousal,
- the tendency to objectify of the sexual body through use of pornography,
- holding a negative (“Puritanical”) view of sex, resulting in shame and guilt,
- communication with your spouse or children about sexual matters
So what can we do about these problems? Simply, we need to have Jesus involved in our sex life, sitting on our bed. But there are more solutions. Would you offer my readers some ideas?
