Secrets of Unleashing the Power of Your Prayer Life, Part III: What You Don’t know about Praying May Hurt You.
Jesus thoughtfully left us an example of “How to pray” when He recited the “Our Father” for his disciples. But there is a lot Jesus did not spell out about how to unpack a powerful prayer life. What you don’t know may not exactly hurt you, but it may block your spiritual growth.
In the next Bread Basket, I’d like to suggest three things you may be didn’t even know about praying. My hope is that by considering these points, you will deepen and strengthen your own prayer life. Here are three attitudes God wants us to have, that most of us don’t realize.
Because He loves us, God wants us to pray for ourselves.
Because He created us, God wants us to pray like children.
Because He has covenanted with us, God wants us to pray with authority.
