Take a Soaking Bath in God’s Love

IMG_3800

Doesn’t life go too fast?  Doesn’t the “stuff” you do simply wear you out?

I wandered into Jeremiah 31:25 the other day, and took delight in it.  In the NIV it said, “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”

The cool thing is the word picture God gave me as I explored the Hebrew for these words, “refresh,” “weary,” “satisfy,” and  “faint.”

Here is the image with which  the Lord blessed me:

“Are you exhausted?  Are you sorrowful and sad? Are you just plain spent, pooped out?  Come to Me.  Step into a soaking bath, filled with My love.  I am overflowing the tub with My grace and favor. Luxuriate in those bubbles, My beloved.  Let this soaking refresh you fully.”
