Endorsement of Prayer

I don’t usually endorse movies on my blog, but I certainly endorse prayer.  So I highly recommend the new released movie War Room.  The film focuses on an elderly woman, Miss Cora, who shares important lessons with Elizabeth, a struggling wife and mother.

This is Miss Cora’s action plan for effective praying in a nutshell:

First create your own “war room”.  Redo your clothes closet if need be.  Then go to the drawing board for powerful praying.

1.  Learn to fight your battles well.  Know who the real enemy is:  Satan.  He plans on killing, stealing and destroying your abundant life. Don’t fight your loved ones, or even your self.

2.  Plan a strategy, just the way the military staff do in a battle.  They go into the War Room, look at the lay of the land, the ploys of the enemy, and the strengths of their fighting forces. They set goals moving them towards a victory.

3.  Pray out the strategy using the Word of God.  Pray the Word against Satan

4.   Pray in Jesus’ name and under his precious blood.  This includes the step of surrender.  If you want a victory, you need to surrender.

5.  Accept God’s grace in your life, and share that grace with others.

6.  Declare the Word of God in your sphere, to all that will hear.

7.  Discipline yourself to express gratitude for the victories.

8.  Praise Jesus.  Praise the Heavenly Father.   Praise the Holy Ghost.

Praise turns the enemy.
