Take a hike — with Jesus.

As you hike through life, all you have to do is ask, and Jesus will walk in front of you.  He will clear the path He wants you to take.  Like a leader on a bushwhacking trail, Jesus will remove any obstacles and toss from the path any hindrances that might trip you.  His charted course for you is the way of peace.

What does this path look like?  As you hike along, most of the time you will be watching Jesus’ back, as he hacks down this bush, throws that rock to the side, shifts away a fallen tree.  If you stumble he steadies you with his right hand. He is leading you in the way He wants you to go. 

Jesus, the Sun of righteousness, is walking you out of your valley of darkness.  Soon you will experience peace, and see a spiritual presence that will be beyond your understanding. This peace will be a Great Calm, quieting the battle in your mind and the havoc rattling in your heart.  You will see Love, Unconditional Acceptance, a crimson stream made from the Son of God’s blood, poured onto your path. As you walk, stepping in that divine blood, you will be protected from all evil, anything that is not God.

It is for these purposes that Jesus died.
