Writing checks from God’s account

Imagine that I hand you a check book filled with multiple checks to access God’s bank account. I encourage you to use it.  Assume that I don’t tell you the balance of that account.  You have had an experience of “lack” or “meagerness”, so you assume the balance is only $500.  So you timidly write a $25 check here, and a $10 check there.  Perhaps you make a bold move — bold for you, that is, not bold for God —  and you write a $100 check.  Then you assume you have received all there is available to you.  And you stop writing checks. Now imagine God coming to you and saying, “Our joint bank account is filled to overflowing. Write checks that reflect that abundance.” You believe it! Your perspective on the riches available in that heavenly account changes.  Now you believe that the wealth streams from the throne of God.  You now start writing check after check, $25 for this person, $100 for that person, $1250 for the next person.  You get excited, and you keep writing. What happens?  God and his angels are filled with inexpressible joy that you have finally seen with the eyes of your heart his riches in glory.  You jump out of bed every morning overjoyed to try out the limitless bank account and share the Heavenly Father’s riches.  Your friends and enemies experience blessings one after the other.  Your cup (the bank account of God) runs over. God’s name is wonderful.  In Hebrew wonderful means limitless!large-signature
